Gironda è un bed & luxury di assoluto pregio. Ci sono poche recensioni perché il posto è nuovo. Situato sulla via principale di Ravenna in un palazzo ristrutturato dispone di poche stanze. Noi eravamo nella stanza verde. Finiture di pregio affreschi e soffitti a cassettoni perfettamente restaurati. La colazione ottima e siamo stati accolti da Emanuela che ci ha trattato con grande disponibilità ed attenzione. Direi che per questo tipo di sistemazioni è difficile trovare di meglio. Complimenti!

Un posto magico. Circondato dal buon gusto ed accoglienza eccellente. Sono stato nella stanza Gold con tanto di sauna! Si Sauna! Una pulizia paragonabile ad un 6 stelle. Che dire non vedo l'ora di tornarci.

We (a couple) spent a wonderful night here. Very spacious and clean room. All newly renovated to a very high Standard. The bathroom is pure luxury. A combination of modern and antique. Positioned right in the Center of the oldtown of Ravenna with all the restaurants, Shops and the sightseeing. Very reasonable Priced!

My family stayed at the sister resort, Santa Maria Foris, and I happened to need another room. Being sold out, they helped by offering me the Gironda nearby. I went to check it out and I was stunned by its beauty and excellence. This is a very first class accommodation that has features I've never seen at any hotel. I'm not even going to tell you what they are. It's more fun if you discover it yourself.! You want this. You won't believe the experience! ||When we finally boarded our cruise ship the following day, I wished my cruise suite was half as fabulous as the Gironda!!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous 3 suite boutique hotel, housed in beautifully renovated palazzo. There is a gold, blue and green room. We saw all 3 (in between cleans/checkins), but stayed in the stunning gold room.||The proprietor has thought of everything, quite literally, from amazing common areas with impeccable attention to detail (eg loose tea to make, different coffee machines for caff and decaff, water without gas and sparkling in the room, lit up makeup mirror sleekly hidden flat with the wall, which revealed eye masks and earplugs (not that one needs it in this super quiet area with windows in d'Oro gold room facing into medieval neighbouring buildings and garden. Beautifully restored freschi, painted 16th and 17th century ceilings, stunning homewares, bedlinen and towels. Books for one to read, honesty bar for cocktails & other nightcap options. Such a comfortable huge bed! Wonderful sauna and meditation/yoga room that Gold suite comes with, and small personal gym at both blue and green room. Usb ports, adaptors, they thought of everything! Cake and tea and coffee, nuts and fresh fruits, whenever you need them, in the huge kitchen adjacent to the commonpalatial dining room. The soul of the hotel, for us, was lovely Marco, who manages the place, checks you in etc. The most fun, passionate about this property front of house lead that any proprietor would want. He talks about the property and hotel with such sparkle in his eye, shows such warmth and kindness to the guests, the epitome of service - he makes it a joy to stay here. I would come to Ravenna just to stay here again, it is that good of a place.

Gironda was such an amazing place to stay. Its only been opened a few months and everything is new and beautifully appointed. Best location! Emmanuella, our hostess provided a magnificent breakfast each day. Additionally, she made arrangements for all our travel needs. It was difficult to leave!

PS Pls note that this place is no longer what it used to be, for one, wonderful person who has made our stay here, "the heart of Gironda", Marco, is no longer there. Thus, I can no longer guarantee you will have the same experience as we had, so did not want to mislead anyone with my glowing review 3 months ago (as at October 2024).
