The Wilson House is a true gem. I will stay here every time I visit Baltimore in the future. It house is in a gorgeous historic neighborhood and the house is a sprawling beauty. The rooms are designed to meet your every need and each have their own character and charm. I stayed in a room that shared a bathroom, which worked perfectly (never even saw the other person), and other rooms have ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast was perfect. It was delicious and healthy and served in dining rooms where I got to meet other guests (though you could dine alone if you preferred). Guy and Clelia are outstanding hosts. They were immediately friendly and made me feel right at home. I walked around the neighborhood morning and evening and there are a range of restaurants within a 20 minute walk. It's also near Druid Hill Park, which was a great place to run or walk. If you have a chance to stay here instead of at a hotel, I highly recommend it. You'll feel much more at home. It easily accommodates small or large groups.

Wilson House B+B is an absolute gem in Baltimore. The hosts, Guy and Clelia are wonderful, and provide every comfort of home. Guy has had a fascinating and varied career in the military, and shared some amazing stories over breakfast. Breakfast, by the way, was exquisite - fresh fruit and yogurt along with Clelia's secret recipe Peruvian corn cakes. FABULOUS! The home is a large, rambling victorian mansion, filled with lovely antiques, crystal, china, and memorabilia of Guy's navy career. All of the rooms were beautifully appointed from what we could see. We stayed in the Master Suite, on the 3rd floor which was huge with a separate sitting room that contains a queen pull out sofabed. The king bed was perfect - not too firm and not too soft. The only issue we had was that it was unseasonably warm on the night we stayed, and window A/C units hadn't been installed, yet, so we slept with the windows open. Road noise from nearby Rt 83 was noticeable with the windows open (Pretty quiet when they were closed, though!). The neighborhood feels very safe, with many other older homes - very residential feel. Parking is plentiful, though not necessarily in front of Wilson House. Guy is wonderful at providing directions to their home, from wherever you may be coming from. We found that Waze got us there just as well, but Guy knows all the tricks for getting there! This would be a great location for a longer stay in Baltimore, as it is fairly close to downtown, Hopkins Hospital, the Zoo, etc....|Thank you, Guy and Clelia for your hospitality!

A huge thank you to Guy and Clelia for providing a lovely stay when I was in a very tough spot. To make a long story short, I was recently in Baltimore attending a large (10k people) conference for which I booked a large hotel chain well ahead of time. I was notified while standing in said hotel chain's lobby trying to check in that they cancelled my reservation due to being "over-booked". No notification, no place to sleep, every hotel sold out in a ten mile radius. ||By a sheer stroke of luck (or genius?), my travel rep was able to connect me with Guy, the owner and proprietor of Wilson House. He was friendly, accommodating, and willing to help out in any way they could. They had just returned from some recent travel and didn't have their property listed publicly, so still had a few rooms available. I grabbed an Uber and headed over. ||The property is located in the historic neighborhood of Reservoir Hill, about 2 miles north of the Baltimore Convention Center. It's about a 10 minute car ride, which is much easier than the seemingly quite unreliable light rail. It is a beautiful, sprawling mansion that is filled with both lovely antique furnishings and treasures from Guy and Clelia's travels around the world. My room (the flower room) was quite large by modern standards, with a private balcony and en-suite. Of note, the room and bathroom were impressively CLEAN. Take it from a career scientist in the medical field, that bathroom was cleaner than a lot of labs I've worked in. Clelia cleans and maintains all the rooms herself and she's NOT messing around. Finally, the breakfasts I had over the 3 mornings of my stay were all delicious, varied (especially loved the Moroccan eggs/shakshuka!), and filled with great company.||I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Though it's a bit off the beaten path from the main tourist spots in Baltimore, it's worth it. It certainly worked out being a better stay than what I originally had booked at the big-hotel chain, and probably about half the cost to boot. Guy was even able to help out a coworker of mine with a room for our first night in town after the hotel she had booked left her with concerns about safety and cleanliness. If you're looking for ultra-modern in the dead center of the city and/or traveling with a bunch of kids, I'd likely look elsewhere. However, if you value historic charm, true hospitality, and supporting a local business, you'd do VERY well to stay with Guy and Clelia at Wilson House.

Owners Guy and Clelia were gracious hosts. Clelia's breakfasts were delicious, and Guy entertains with many stories from an interesting (and busy) life. Our room was clean, pleasantly spacious and everything functional. The B&B is in a fairly quiet residential area (some highway drone though), and is convenient to MICA and the Maryland Film Festival. It's a doable walk (maybe kilometer) from the train station if you don't have too much luggage. Restaurants and stores are a similar walk. There's also a nearby tram stop. I would gladly stay here again.

The Wilson House is a beautiful bed & breakfast conveniently located near MICA. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hosts are the real gems, though! Breakfast in the morning with the hosts and other guests was also a highlight of my stay. Parking was also available.

We were there as part of a family group, for a wedding. Between us all, we had 5 rooms. It was a perfect -- the house is so interesting, the location is convenient, the hosts are friendly and interesting, the beds are comfy, the breakfast is great (and very classy!). We'll go back.

I was booked to say at a hotel in the Inner Harbor, which ended up being dirty and shady. It turns out that Guy had a room and was able to check me in at 10pm! I had a warm, cozy, and comfortable stay with a delicious breakfast in the morning. I will definitely stay again when I am back in the area.

This is an exquisitely beautiful B&B in a large Victorian home in an historic section of Baltimore. It is lovingly maintained by the owners Guy and Clilia who were super friendly and attentive hosts. The house is filled with memorabilia from Guy’s extensive military career which was exceptional. The breakfasts were delicious, and my wife and I enjoyed our conversations with the other interesting guests who were staying there and also hearing Guy speak about his life’s experiences. We will look forward to staying here again on our future visits to Baltimore.
