Working with the staff and crew at the SIXT Studio City location on Ventura Blvd. was a breeze. I had a simple mistake with an over-charge on my credit card, which the company quickly resolved. The credit back to my card showed up within 24 hours. They are a friendly group of people. Who doesn’t like friendly? If I’m not flying in or out of the airport, SIXT is my go to rental car company for all my rental car needs. SIXT also beats out any other app based car rental company. I recently had a highly disappointing experience with the rental car branch located at Los Angeles Studio City. I had booked a car a week prior to my arrival, and I was looking forward to driving a BMW X5 during my stay. However, upon reaching the branch, I was informed that they did not have any BMW X5 available, which was quite frustrating considering my reservation was made well in advance.

To make matters worse, instead of offering a suitable alternative, I had to engage in an hour-long argument with the staff members before they reluctantly provided me with a Dodge Caravan. I found it completely unacceptable that they would offer me a significantly lower-quality vehicle without any prior notification or explanation. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic to get me to accept a vehicle that I did not want.

Furthermore, when I finally received the replacement car, I was appalled by its condition. The Jeep Wagoneer they provided was filthy, covered in dust, and clearly had not been properly cleaned or prepared for my rental. It was evident that the vehicle had not received the attention it deserved before being handed over to me. This lack of cleanliness and maintenance only added to my growing frustration and disappointment.

As a customer who had made a reservation well in advance, I expected a certain level of professionalism, reliability, and respect from the rental car branch. Regrettably, I received none of these. The staff's lack of consideration for my booking, their attempt to substitute a premium car with a significantly inferior one, and the abysmal condition of the vehicle I eventually received all contributed to an extremely unpleasant experience.

I strongly advise potential renters to steer clear of this particular branch in Los Angeles Studio City. The lack of customer service, the absence of the vehicle I had reserved, and the overall poor quality of the replacement car left me with a bitter taste and a significant inconvenience during my trip. I sincerely hope that the management of this branch takes these issues seriously and works towards improving their services, as no customer should have to endure such substandard treatment.

Ich hatte meine Buchung schon vorab in Deutschland gemacht, konnte aber dank Helens Informationen und Beratung ganz unkompliziert noch Änderungen zu meinen Gunsten machen. Would not rent from Sixt ever again. The pickup at LAX was terrible, we waited extremely long for a bus to pick us up. The driver did not even assist with our bags. Then the attendants at the rental counter were very rude. When we dropped off the car at Studio City we were told everything was fine with the rental but then later charged with damage. I am still having to go through the damage assessment even with purchasing the damage waiver. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM unless you want unnecessary headache.

I was having a really bad day. The clutch went out on our car and I was dealing with a family medical emergency. Brian didn’t have my car in inventory so he offered me a free upgrade. I was so grateful for his kindness and service!! I always love renting from Sixt.

Go to hertz there more organized and have customer service that can speak English more clearly. The people on location are decent it’s the non English natives over the phone that are the issue. It seem like I was getting the same lady with the broken English. I had to extend my rental due to my flight getting cancelled due to bad weather . I had to ask this lady multiple times to repeat herself. After an hour I had to ask her to transfer me which she didn’t. If you’re in California go to the location in LA it’s full of diversity and native English speakers if you have to rent with this company or just rent with hertz it’s a better overall experience.
