Booked this villa back in February, super excited to spend the summer holidays with my cousins. Unfortunately, the owner failed to mention he decided to book another family for the same time despite our booking being confirmed. He also failed to mention this until we asked a question about the villa, which was a few days before the booking date!!! He also took no responsibility at all and only said we never had a booking, making our trip in Italy go from a fun family reunion to a stressful nightmare where all 3 families were trying to desperately book other hotels and activities in other areas of Italy. As it’s the summer holidays lots of places were already booked and hotel prices were extremely expensive making it impossible to continue the holiday for all families despite us all driving from England. It is a massive shame as it should’ve been a lovely memory for us all.

Casa Visette is a real gem of Barolo area. Located next to vineyards and surrounded by stunningly beautiful hills. The property is on top condition and guest rooms are very nice. Owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. I travelled there with my spouse and some friends. We had a rental car, which allowed us to enjoy also the really nice views, restaurants, wineries and small towns, some just 10 minutes and all less than 30 minutes away. Not too much traffic on the roads and we found parking whenever we wanted to stop. Next time I will certainly bring my hiking boots with me.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Casa Visette. High quality accommodation with astonishing views to every direction. Nearby there are many lovely little towns with excellent restaurants and little shops to explore. Famous for its Barolo wines, the surroundings show a close up view in the delicate wine production. This is a place for everyone and we'll be definitely coming back in the near future.
