BEWARE of renting with this company. They will sell you it for $25.00 a day to end up paying $100 a day instead, and when you come up to the counter to meet with Jorge "manager" not to include the two additional staff who were extremely rude to customers, they ask for you to pay two different types of insurance that are mandatory in Florida or at least with them, plus charge you $15.00 toll services. One customer waited 3 hours in line to be told he didn't make the reservation "on time", and was put as a no-show, leaving him without a rental car. They were lying to customers, telling them they had to leave a security deposit of $2500 to make people cancel their reservations.

Rented a car today and It was the most smooth, professional and best experience I’ve ever had. Xavier helped me and my family get the best deal and assisted us with all of our questions. Did a walk in and he made sure we left with a great safe car. Loyal customer from now on!

Very easy to rent from. Little tricky to figure out from airport but you just have to call the number on the email and it tells you what to do. The gentleman that the car rental place that helped us was very friendly. Would rent from again. I rented off of Expedia. I did just go ahead and pay for the daily insurance because I didn’t want to deal with calling my insurance and adding the vehicle to my policy than turn around and have to remove it a couple days later.

This was the worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. I will never rent here again! They held my $1000 deposit for over three weeks. They also pressured me to buy their outrageously expensive insurance and toll transponder. The agent told me I couldn’t even get to downtown Miami without paying tolls, which I knew was just a trick to get more money from me.

I rented with ROUTES CAR RENTAL, but the paperwork was handled by someone from another company at the counter. For those renting here for the first time: you can buy a SunPass toll transponder at any Walgreens nearby. You don’t have to buy their insurance (it was more expensive per day than the actual car rental!). If you’re a U.S. resident, just use your own insurance and temporarily set up full coverage while you’re in Miami, if necessary. If you’re from abroad, I recommend renting from another company (like Enterprise, Avis, or Hertz); in the end, you’ll likely pay less.

The car itself was fine and clean, but the service was terrible. Never again.
