Per usual, service is not friendly!

Service: Service here is so unfriendly and unkind!

I have Presidents Circle status, which generally means a free upgrade, but he didn’t give an upgrade. When I briefly asked, he seemed irritated. He also gave me a vehicle with horrendous fuel efficiency that was not even within the category I booked. When I tried to ask if they had alternatives, he just walked away and didn’t return until he had the car.

Additionally, he rushed me and was completely unhelpful during the walk tk the vehicle despite me carrying 3 luggages/bags and a dog. He just watched me blankly when my bag almost fell over when it hit a bump on the ground, and then walked off when we got to the car without even going over the car.

There was no one else in line so there was not really a reason for his behavior or for rushing me!

Vehicles: The vehicles I’ve been getting on recent rentals have been getting worse in every way: more fuel inefficient, poor safety ratings, not even in the categories I’ve been booking and paying for, and no upgrades! This last vehicle was dirty inside and out, with dirt stuck to the outside and the inside smelling of smoke.

Location: The main benefit of this location is the proximity to the beach and hotels. It’s quite a great spot, and it’s convenient if you don’t want to trek to a downtown or airport.

This has been my 3rd bad experience with Hertz this year, and I’m going to be switching to a different provider next time. Super disappointed with the bad quality vehicles and the bad attitudes of the staff - just ruins my travel!

I recently visited Hertz Car Rental and had a mixed experience. The service provided by the staff was satisfactory, but there was a slight delay in receiving the car.

Upon arriving at Hertz, I was greeted warmly by the employees, who were polite and professional throughout the interaction. They patiently answered all my questions and guided me through the rental process, which was reassuring. The overall customer service was commendable, and I appreciated their efforts to make me feel welcome.

However, the only drawback was the time it took for them to deliver the car. Despite having made a reservation in advance, I had to wait longer than expected before the vehicle was ready. This delay was a bit frustrating, especially when I was looking forward to starting my journey promptly.

Nonetheless, once the car was handed over, it was in good condition, clean, and fueled up, which was definitely a positive aspect. The vehicle itself met my expectations, and I encountered no issues during my rental period.

In conclusion, my experience at Hertz Car Rental was average. The customer service was friendly and professional, but the delay in delivering the car was a minor inconvenience. I would still consider renting from them again in the future, hoping for a smoother and more prompt service.

Despite the negative reviews we had a very good experience with this Hertz. We waited 20 minutes (it was a Saturday morning, where they only open for a few hours), we booked a compact car and got upgraded to a medium sized SUV without extra costs. The car was fine and the staff super nice. The return was quick and super easy. We would recommend it.

This is the worst store ever! Unfortunately it’s the closest to me and I have rented cars here at least 4 times - always a nightmare! Doesn’t matter if you make reservations, they never have your car available. The place is always packed with people unhappy waiting for over a hour. The staff is rude, the cars are dirty cause they have no time to properly clean between clients and they treat people very bad. Pay a little more and go to their competitors in Sunny Isles. It will save you more than time!

I use hertz all the time and today I returned a one day rental I had (went one way from Tampa back home to Miami) for a 9am return of Saturday morning and the dude was so rude when i showed up at 8:46 (they open at 9) that when I asked for his name he told me “I don’t have one” and then when he asked why I was asking and I told him I wanted to call customer service to tell them how rude he was being, he told me “my name is Dakota” which is my name. The worst experience I’ve ever had at hertz.

Small location so don’t expect great car availability, but in my case the representative made all he can do and get a car for me from another location in less than 45 minutes. I believe that he didn’t even realize that I have the highest loyalty level with Hertz, which made his effort even more credible!

Great experience. There was an issue with the car I ordered, so Edward quickly sorted out something else for me, which was nice luxury SUV and he even allowed me to bring it back later to have some extra time to enjoy it. Very happy that I chose this branch. Both Edward and Alfredo were really great and helpful. Thank you!
