Stanze grandi con bagno appena rinnovate, un enorme confortevole salone dove far colazione, una graziosa lounge dove è posizionato un antico caminetto, un'attrezzata terrazza sovrastante i verdi campi umbri da dove è possibile osservare tramonti unici, passeggiate nel vicino bosco di pini e cipressi. E volendo, per le famiglie, c'è pure un attico ed una casa vacanze. La location tra l'altro è perfetta, posizionata a pochi chilometri di distanza da importanti e storici centri quali Perugia, Gubbio, Città di Castello, Montone oppure il romantico Lago Trasimeno. ||Coen è un perfetto padrone di casa oltre che un ottimo chef: sa darti preziosi consigli su ristoranti e posti caratteristici da visitare situati negli immediati dintorni, per rendere indimenticabile la tua vacanza. una bellissima struttura in precedenza usata come fattoria e 'mulino' per lo stoccaggio del tabacco. Le camere e le strutture in comune sono arredate con gusto, i letti sono molto comodi e le stanze sono pulite e ben curate. La struttura è in prossimità di Montone e Città di Castello. La natura intorno è spettacolare. Coen è veramente un bravo host.

Well, breathtaking views herald us to the pink stone agriturismo, our guest house for the next few nights, Matteo came out to greet us and showed us to our room, passing the beautiful communal lounge to a corridor of four other bedrooms en suite, and beautifully decorated. We could have a double view of the countryside and beautiful fir trees on the other! We then went out onto the terrace where we could have breakfast, following our gaze up to a little woodland walk to see the goats and the donkeys and other splendid views across the valley of fields and a lake. The birdsong was wonderful don’t forget to take your binoculars with you so many varieties of bird especially the bee eater bird all the colours of the rainbow magnificent birds swooping and diving across the valley.||Our host made us most welcome and showed us the dining room for breakfast in the morning, and also showed us the whole house, everywhere we went were magnificent views! The peace and quiet that greeted us that evening after we had been to the neighbouring villages was wonderful!

Casa di Montone is een magnifiek gelegen B&B, midden tussen de meest pittoreske plaatsjes en natuur, veel al binnen een kwartier rijden te bereiken. Maar ook Toscane is goed te doen, binnen een uur ben je daar. De B&B zelf en de kamers zijn ruim en erg goed verzorgd, Coen Wessel een zeer prettige gastheer die alles over de omgeving kan vertellen en de leukste plekjes en tentjes heeft gevonden waar je optimaal van het Italiaanse leven in Umbrië kan genieten. Wat je ook zoekt, rust, schoonheid of gezelligheid, bij Casa di Montana is het allemaal te vinden. Ik ga heel vaak terugkomen!

Wat een heerlijke plek om tot jezelf te komen, fijne ruime accommodatie met alles wat je nodig hebt en een gastheer die er voor zorgt dat je niks te kort komt!
's avonds heerlijk genieten bij een knappend haardvuur onder het genot van een hapje en een drankje.. of in de zomer heerlijk ontspannen op het terras of aan het zwembad.
een stukje verder van de accommodatie vind je ezels die je luidkeels verwelkomen, geiten die lekker aan het grazen zijn, vogeltjes die vrolijk fluiten. een bos waar je in een hangmat tot rust kan komen, maar ook kunt badmintonnen, schommelen en heerlijk even kunt zitten.
de omgeving is fantastisch, eindeloze vergezichten, je kunt er heerlijk wandelen en je waant jezelf terug in de tijd van de oude Romeinen in de mooie dorpjes en steden. Heerlijk eten bij échte Italiaanse restaurants voor een fractie van wat je in bijvoorbeeld Nederland betaalt, een aperitivo aan het eind van de middag samen met de plaatselijke bevolking. verse streekproducten waar je je vingers bij af likt... een olijfbomengaard, huisgemaakte marmelade... ik kan er niet over ophouden! Echt fantastisch!!

I travelled here with my 2 boys (10 +7) amd my aunt and we simply loved it! The boys stayed in a spacious, well equipped 2 bedroom apartment full of charm. There are also other appartments and bedrooms each with a different feel. Coen, the super-friendly and incredibly well informed host was full of suggestions on what to see, visit and eat in the area which has so much to offer as you are surrounded by picturesque little towns like Montone, Citta' di Castello and Assisi to name a few. The boys had a blast feeding the donkeys and goats and playing in the pool while mum and aunt had leisurely breakfasts with home made jams and strong Italian coffee!! We will be back next year for a longer holiday for sure! Thanks Coen!!|

Net terug van een kleine week bij Casa di Montone en ik wil alweer gaan! Coen heeft ons warm ontvangen op zijn fijne plek, waar je heerlijk kan niksen of juist veel kan ondernemen. Het uitzicht is er prachtig. Vanuit de agriturismo kan je zo een wandeling maken door de heuvelachtige landschappen. En het enige wat je hoort is het fluiten van de vogels, heerlijk! Ook zijn er allerlei oude stadjes in de buurt en is het eten super lekker! (En de dagelijkse ‘aperitivo’s’ niet te vergeten!!). Coen staat voor je klaar met al zijn advies over activiteiten in de omgeving en zijn kookkunsten zijn ontzettend goed! Grazie Coen!
