I had a great buying experience at Fireside Living in Bedford. Walked in on a Saturday and met two employee installers(Chris and Drew) who sold me on a fireplace insert instead of gas logs. Two weeks later the installation was complete just before the April storm. The challenge in the installation was access to the fireplace flue because of the topography around the chimney. It required three ladders to be used around the chimney and the roof. Great install and an excellent product!

If I could give more stars, I would!!! I stopped in on a monday not knowing they were closed. A man (I believe to be an owner) noticed me outside walking away and invited me in anyway! Spent probably 45 minutes with me going over 2 different stoves and was extremely informative. I ultimately ended up ordering a stove from this company a few weeks later and the folks there when I went in to pick up were just as friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and a no-pressure buying experience. You have questions? They are guarenteed to have the answers. On the off chance they don't, they will work to get you the answer as fast as possible. My Pacific Energy Summit wood stove came in very quick (suprising for ordering in the fall). Pick up was a breeze and they loaded the stove into my truck with the forklift. The loading guy even made sure it was exactly where I wanted it before driving the fork lift back to the garage. After getting it set up in my house, i had a few questions about how it was burning. I sent some videos to their facebook page where I got a reply fairly quickly reassuring me the burn was correct, and saved me a trip to the store. 10 out of 10 all around experience and I can't recommend them enough!

I am one of those people who very rarely leave reviews but I had to document my experience. I love Fireside living and had a great experience. Greg was one of the nicest guys I have interacted with and he was so personable. Him and Drew went above and beyond and explained everything and they were thorough. Hopefully I won’t need to buy another stove but if I do this will be the first place I go. If anyone is looking for a fireplace company please put this on your list!

I’m editing my review. These folks did a great job with installation of the stove we bought from them a few years back. But they do not employ enough technicians to service the stoves they’ve installed in a timely manner. We had to hire a different company last year for the annual service. This year our stove wouldn’t work and initially I was told that the earliest appointment was 3 months away. I left a very unhappy review at that point. Fortunately they called back and were able to squeeze me in several weeks later. They came and easily fixed the problem. The other company last year had not adequately cleaned one of the vents. So not their fault. I appreciated them working with me on this. I am still frustrated though that it takes them so long to come and service. Be forewarned: book your yearly services at least 6 months in advance or you’re out of luck. Otherwise a friendly and helpful company.

Expert advice from Greg - he went over all the pros /cons of a woodstove vs a fireplace insert. We went with a Vermont Casting Encore - sweet stove! Installed by Chris and Zack and both were great to have on site. This was a big purchase and the installation had to be done right. Fireside Living checked all the boxes.

These pics speak for themselves! Allen is the BEST! He is personable and really responded immediately whenever we emailed/called. He kept us posted every step of the way with the installation and communicated with us in a very detailed manner. EXCELLENT customer service. The workmanship is top-notch and the prices are great for such high-end fire place inserts/doors. Purchased the latest updated version Heat & Glo Supreme 35” fireplace gas insert in September 2019 from Allen Coco at Fireside Living in Bedford, NH. Allen was a delight during the sale and he personally performed the installation very professionally and explained how to operate all the features with the great remote control. This unit replaced another Heat & Glow which served us well for 18 years. This latest version is a huge upgrade from our old unit. The logs are very realistic and the adjustable flame is beautiful and looks like a wood fire. The unit heats our home very efficiently with the help of the thermostat and the adjustable quiet blower. The optional brick liner matches our fireplace bricks perfectly and adds to the beauty and ambiance of the fireplace. I highly recommend Heat N Glo and Fireside Living.

It was smooth from start to finish. The quote was very competitive and the install was done quickly and with minimal disturbance to our home. Before they finished they made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and followed up to make sure everything was working properly. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for home heating needs!
