If I could give zero stars I would.

The two ladies that "run" this place are extremely rude. They wouldn't let me pick up a car I pre paid for for my wife, who would be the primary driver, and wouldn't refund my money. Just kept giving me corporate answers, like "that's policy" and "well I don't control the website" and interrupting me when I was trying to speak and being very rude. They won't let me change or add a driver (even though the website says you can,) and they wont give me my money back, and they wont cancel the rental. When I asked to speak to someone above them, they told me on of the girls was the branch manager. When I asked to speak to whoever was her boss, at first she said there wasn't anyone I could call. Then she did call her boss, who was just as rude over the phone, and when I was trying to speak to the boss the girl kept interrupting me. They won't cancel the rental. I'm sitting outside their office with no rental car and they still have my money. Hertz will steal your money and leave you high and dry.

Also, my wife and I have been on hold with Hertz customer service for 30 minutes.

Go somewhere else for your rental.

UPDATE: Best thing to do is dispute the charge with tour card company and let them know these people don't care and will try and take your money, then go 1.6 miles down the road to Enterprise who are professional al, polite, helpful, AND CHEAPER.

2ND UPDATE: 2 hours later, the Hertz account respo ded to this review and I still haven't gotten any feedback and they haven't done anything about it, so it's still happening.

I have a reservation through my insurance company.... My insurance company said that they had all my information and I would be able to get a compact car tonight. I called right after lunch and spoke to the manager of this location. She told me at that time they did not have any compact cars, but she expected a bunch to return that afternoon and that I should come in on Saturday morning to see if there are any cars left. I told her I had done that in the past and it was a nightmare ...and that I wanted to call before I come down. She told me the phones didn't work on Saturdays. I asked if she could please give me a call before she closed to let me know if there is any compact cars so I didn't waste a trip. This manager had such an attitude!! She hesitated ...but said she would call me around 4:30pm. She then said she may not get any cars in today....I asked if she could have one brought over from another location and she told me no, that's not how Hertz works. I told her that the Sahara store had told me they could do that just a few weeks back. She said I doubt that happened.
I asked her if she was calling me a liar... no response from her. She said she'd call me at 430pm. At 4:50 I called the office and she answered the phone. Cars, I asked her if she had any of the compact cars and she told me she only had midsize. I said The insurance company told me I had to stay at $25 a car. She said I don't have any of those cars on my lot. I told her that two weeks ago ...I had a reservation for the office on Sahara ...and I was told that if they didn't have any economy cars on that day,... they would give me a midsize for the price of the economy/compact car, which was $25 a day. She got the biggest attitude with me and said that's not how Hertz works. I asked her why she continually gave me attitude and called me a liar. She said she was going to call over to the Sahara store to see if this was true... I again asked her why she was getting such an attitude with me and then she said she would not rent to me. Why is this location always so difficult? A manager should not act like this. Unbelievable!!!!!

Most UNPROFESSIONAL experience that I have ever dealt with. While trying to retrieve a missing item left behind in my car rental, I was mistreated with passive aggressive behavior that that led to me being cussed out by employees at this location. The lady that cussed and lashed out at me in a very disturbing manner was the one that preps the cars. I believe her name is Christina or something like that. The other lady had a very nasty attitude as well. When I picked up my first rental, she kept making remarks that there should’ve only been 3 reservations for that day and that she didn’t know why all these people were there and made it an uncomfortable atmosphere in their office. The demeanor that she speaks to customers should not be tolerated. Will NEVER go back there again!!! I would like Hertz to reach out to me to talk more about my experience.

The manager here is such a rude person. we made a reservation and called to see when our car would be available. she said no car will be available and to cancel the reservation. so we asked why there’s no cars, she began talking ab something else so we were like “no but why are there no cars this happened twice in a row”. her response: “are you going to keep talking over me or let me talk” with the most tone i have ever heard from a manager. idk what the hell she went through today but do not take it out on customers. also she ended the call without a response to our question and no refund. we are calling the corporate number in order to get refunded. DO NOT GET A CAR WITH HERTZ I HAVE NEVER HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE

We have rented from this Hertz location many times and every single experience has been top notch. The vehicles are clean, readily available, and the staff is VERY supportive and friendly. We have nothing but positive things to say about this specific Hertz location! Thank you for making our rental experiences straightforward and simple!! Even with a prior appointment and a pre-paid rental agreement, I was not helped for over 1.5 hours. There was only one employee on duty. He had to do the greeting, computer work, run to get the car, wash, vacuum, and bring it back to the rental office. It was taking about 45 minutes each to handle the three renters in front of me. When it was my turn, I told the employee to cancel. Hertz does not deserve my hard earned money. I refused to take the car. The employee told me that he canceled my reservation and he said that he returned my credit to my credit card. I do not know if that happened or not. I have no problem with the one employee working there. He was very nice and polite. But obviously, he was over worked. When I spoke to the SEVEN people behind me in line I discovered that this situation was common at this location. Several of the renters behind me in line had been to this location before. I will not use Hertz again. I will go to Google and Yelp and tell my story so others will not know to use Hertz and how I was mistreated by having only one employee working and he was required to do all of those jobs.
