3 carte di credito (sia visa che maestro), 3 carte di debito, iban, paypal, apple pay e 5 persone non sono bastate per pagare quei miseri euro dopo il primo acquisto online. La commessa, oltre ad avere un atteggiamento acido e indifferente da maleducata, non ha dato nessuna assistenza su quali fossero i motivi per cui non funzionassero e inoltre non ha aiutato a come effettuare la cancellazione. L’unica informazione che ci ha forniti era di contattare il numero di Hertz dell’ordine, ma ovviamente non hanno risposto. Se non volete perdere soldi e una giornata di vacanza, questo è il primo posto da evitare, dal momento che in altri posti hanno accettato il pagamento pure con una dannata PREPAGATA.

Ho prenotato e pagato online dall'Italia un'auto con una carta di credito ricaricabile che uso solo per le transazioni online. Arrivata al banco non hanno accettato la transazione fatta e la carta di credito Visa che mostravo. Ho dovuto chiamare io il Call center per avere spiegazioni e rifare una nuova prenotazione al telefono perché l'impiegata aveva il telefono rotto!?!? Mai successo di avere questi problemi all'estero per noleggiare un auto. Inoltre c'era confusione al banco e ho dovuto aspettare per avere poi un'auto più piccola di ciò che mi aspettavo.

I had three separate terrible rental experiences at this location when I arrived with my confirmed reservation and only be told “we have no car available, we are unable to provide you with an ETA, and there’s nothing I can do for you.” Apparently, reservation means nothing at this hertz location.

The fact that this happened multiple times and experienced by many others as seen in other reviews shows that Hertz clearly overbooks their reservations, makes no effort to improve a totally addressable issues (through inventory and operations management), and has no respect of its customers time and experience.

They likely feel like they are too big to fail.

一次極度失望和極差的經歷，過去曾經在澳洲、紐西蘭、日本、英國及羅省旅行都是透過此公司租用車輛，今早去到取車時因忘記攜帶駕駛執照關係，唯有改用我的兒子名字租車，但那位負責的黑人女仕擺出一副非常不友善的態度，說話的語氣亦「十分之不耐煩」，心想是否因為我們是亞洲人？ 相信今後如果有其他選擇的話我也不會再考慮經此公司租用車輛吧！

Do NOT rent from hertz / this location if you value reliability. I reserved a car a week in advance and showed up to pick it up to find out there were NO cars. Customer service was extremely rude and could offer no answers or timeline on when cars would be there. There were ~10 other people there in the same situation.

When I called corporate customer support, they informed me that when you reserve online the system is not at all synced to the inventory at the local locations… which completely defeats the point of making a reservation.

Wir waren im Juli in New York und haben hier einen Mietwagen der Oberklasse für eine One-Way Miete nach Florida angemietet.
Wir waren aufgrund der negativen Bewertungen hier bei Google einen Tag zuvor schon dort und haben gefragt, ob alles vorbereitet ist, und das war es.
Am Anmiettag konnten wir das Auto bereits etwas früher entgegennehmen als vereinbart.
Der Tank war nicht ganz voll, das war auch auf der Übernahmebescheinigung erkennbar.
In sofern waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Zwei kleinere negative Punkte:
1. Das Auto war von außen sauber, von innen jedoch nicht so sehr. Wir haben noch klebrige Flecken und Matschabrücke vom Vormieter vorgefunden.
2. Bei der Endabrechnung wurden die Mautgebühren von der Mautbox aufgelistet, obwohl wir diese nicht aktiviert haben, weil wir uns einen Sunpass gekauft haben.

Terrible Experience with Hertz Car Rental – Don’t Use Hertz!

I recently had an awful experience with Hertz that I feel compelled to share. The customer service was incredibly poor from the start. I paid extra for a bigger car but was given a compact instead. When I raised the issue, they offered me a measly $20 certificate that can only be used on location. Since it's cheaper to book online, this certificate is practically useless.

To make matters worse, they handed me an electric vehicle (EV) without any prior information or guidance, even though it was my first time driving one. Charging it was a nightmare, with long waits at charging stations. Being in Manhattan, I had to drive very far just to find a charging station that didn’t charge an exorbitant day parking fee on top of the charging fee. When I asked the staff for help or even a question about charging the vehicle, their response was consistently, "I don't know or Google it."

To top it all off, their phone customer service is non-existent. I tried calling multiple times for assistance, but I couldn't get through to anyone. This lack of support made an already frustrating situation even worse.

Overall, my experience with Hertz was a disaster. Don't use Hertz! There are plenty of other car rental options out there that actually care about their customers.

DO NOT GO HERE. I ordered the cheapest option, an EV. When I arrived they told me it wasn’t charged and the only other option was to “upgrade” to a different car. I was desperate and I agreed to a different car and they charged me 200 EXTRA dollars….. all because they didn’t charge the car…. Which they could just keep doing to everyone to get an extra 200 out of people. What was a 150 bill turned into a 400 bill plus the gas I paid. Insane. Complained to them and they refused to reimburse me.
