The rooms are old, smell musty despite airing for about 3 hours, the shower is terrible, the water barely flows. Not to mention the toilet, you can barely get to it because the bidet is too close. The only bright spot in this room is the air conditioning.

The hotel is not a "modern" one, but is located in a really quiet area surrounded by green. The staff is really friendly, especially on the restaurant where they pleased all our requests regarding food. The Crostata they make is amazing on the breakfast. I recommend to anyone that wants a great bang for the buck. I will definitely return. Thank you!

Recently, we had a very bizarre experience at this restaurant at lunchtime.|We have stopped there before and found it very good value and quality for a Menu del dia, and appreciated the peace and easy parking away from the coast. However, this time was completely different. We ordered a half caraffe of red wine and were told that we had to have a bottle, so I ordered a glass of wine as my husband wasn`t drinking. Not possible! Really? a restaurant that can`t serve you a glass of wine? So we opted for water. We then noticed that the only other table with diners had a half caraffe of wine. When we pointed this out they reluctantly brought us one.|The pasta as a first course was fine but my husband's fish was like rubber. My Milanese was rather small. OK, it's a cheap meal we thought, but it wasn`t.|The bill was Euro 46 which was far more than when we visited in April.|We queried it and they told us we had had breakfast! How could we have had breakfast when we had just arrived in a campervan after travelling from Tuscany that morning?|I hope this was just confusion on their part and not deliberate deceipt.|I doubt we will be going back

The room ia clean but looks like 40 years ago. There is mold in both the bathroom and the room and the hotel did not see any improvement and investment in a very long time. The restaurant needs even more improvement as it looks very old and dusty and it is even worst than the room. The dinner was like canteen food. The waiter, was a really nice and friendly person and this is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. The rest of the personnel should revise their attitude if they still want to have guests in the future.

I was there with a group trip. The breakfast was good and sweet part seemed to be a bit different every day. The room was clean and comfy. The staff was nice and helpfull, especialy Amerigo who is not affraid to learn new languages and Ivana.||Even if the hotel is quite far from the beach it doesn't matter because there is bus that goes there almost every hour and stops in front of the hotel and is for free! Little unpleasant was the loud taking out of trash in early hours but it was just a small inconveniance in otherwise perfect stay.

Made this choice while returning to France from Italy and got attracted by the photos and by being close to the highway. We had a very warm welcome, the room was very good but the pool was so small and not facing the sun in late afternoon. There were not enough seats/loungers. We were not impressed by the breakfast either ...at this rate, we expected more choice

Stayed here for a week in July 2014. Although the hotel is 3 star rated it did not have any air-conditioning - which was a surprise. However, although the temp was 25C+ every day, with only a few degrees less at night, we did not have any problems keeping our room pleasantly cool.||||Very helpful reception and restaurant staff. Our room was always cleaned promptly every day. ||||We booked half-board and there was a choice of 3 starters & 3 main courses each evening. Some nights there was also a "mystery" extra plate of titbits given out before the first course. These included various pickled items, pieces of melon + ham, figs etc - all very interesting!!||The breakfast fare was varied with lots of bread / cakes etc plus boiled eggs, meats & cheeses.||||The hotel appeared to be frequented by lots of Northern Europeans - mainly Dutch, but some Belgians, Swedes, French, Germans and an Austrian couple. Few Italians and No English - although an Irish family appeared near the end of our stay. Seats around the pool were a bit limited, but we managed. There is also a huge covered terrace with lots of cage-birds in the corner. No evening entertainment at the hotel, but a local old-tyme dance club use the terrace every alternate Sunday.....who were interesting to watch. Plenty to do in nearby Diano Marina and San Bartolomeo seafront in the evenings anyway. ||||Overall, an excellent hotel in a very quiet location - YOU NEED TRANSPORT! When we arrived the direct road from San Bartolomeo to the hotel was closed (looks fairly permanent) so we had to go on a long diversion and ask 3 different Italians for directions before we finally got there.

Stayed here for 1 night. The road to the hotel is closed so you have to go around to get to it. The hotel is not far from the motorway so it is good for a stop off on a journey.||When we arrived they were very welcoming. Our room was in the second building but was a good size and clean. We had a little terrace at the back the shower was good - nice and hot.||We were travelling by motorbike and there was good undercover parking with security cameras.||Food - was good - there is a menu but they appear to have a few options each night - we had mushroom risotto/pasta with pesto and haddock with veg for a main. Followed by creme brulee. All very reasonably priced. Breakfast was the usual continental and fine.||There was a pool that was popular but I didn't use it.||Would recommend as a good place to stay for a couple of nights - there is no airconditioning but that was fine as it wasn't actually that hot at night.||Please bear in mind, the nearest town is about a 20min walk away/10 min by car..||
