Ho viaggiato da sola e mi sono trovata 'in famiglia',almeno in quella che ho sempre desiderato per protezione e libertà.La colazione è eccellente,muffins fatti in casa sfornati ogni mattina,con scelta di centrifuga o succhi,cappuccini,tisane di ogni genere. Il silenzio nella stanza è paradisiaco. Sono stata a Dicembre e ovviamente non ho usato la piscina.La possibilità di fare passeggiate nella campagna e nei boschi circostanti e volendo anche di andare al maneggio accompagnata dalla deliziosa padrona di casa cavallerizza,è per me stato con la bellezza e la cura della struttura e del posto..impagabile

Un posto che potrebbe essere da dieci in pagella, la location è favolosa, la struttura molto ben curata, la piscina immersa nel verde...insomma le credenziali le avrebbe tutte, se non fosse per la qualità dei servizi offerti. Considerando il prezzo che abbiamo pagato, mi sarei aspettato parecchio di più...il personale cordiale ma a tratti quasi "distratto", la colazione di buona qualità ma sulla quantità ci sarebbe ampiamente da ridire (abbiamo chiesto dell'acqua e ci hanno portato un solo bicchiere, il giorno dopo abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia e ce la siamo trovata addebitata sul conto), la cena estremamente costosa (€ 50 / persona) per il menù offerto. Insomma, un costo così elevato non si può pagare solo per il "bel posto", il servizio dovrebbe essere altrettanto importante, se non di più (d'altronde in umbria di bei posti ce ne sono moltissimi...).

La struttura ha uno standard qualitativo molto buono. Il contesto in cui è inserita è decisamente suggestivo, immersa nel paesaggio delle colline umbre....e nel silenzio più totale! Niente TV e soprattutto niente cellulare! Questo relais è ideale per chi vuole trascorrere un pò di giorni in tranquillità. Ottimo l'aspetto culinario, tutti i prodotti utilizzati provengono dalle zone limitrofe...si mangia veramente molto bene.

What a lovely and calm place in the hills of Umbria. The only noise we heard was the sheep coming every morning through the meadows. The owners Carol and Bruno were really nice and did everything to make us feel comfortable. Bruno is a "Masterchef" and created every evening a wonderful menu. He even made us the surprise of a complete fish menu as we told the day before that we were fish-fans. He gave us also lots of recommendations were we could go for hiking. All in all a marvelous place to go when you love nature and peace. A place where you feel at home.

The so lovely and welcoming owners Carol and Bruno and their children Jessica and Christopher have become dear friends and we stay there whenever we return to Switzerland from seeing our parents in Southern Italy. The meals are fabulous and the rooms are stylish and very comfortable. We love the quietness and peacefulness of the beautiful surrounding countryside. This year our hosts suggested to go to see two very special and mystical places close to Assisi but away from the mass tourism. It has been a wonderful experience for us. Wir waren Anfang Mai im Slow Life. Die Gegend ist wunderschön, nur der Weg etwas abenteuerlich und etwas schwer zu finden, aber wenn man einmal da ist ist es fantastisch. Es liegt in Mitten von Mohnfeldern, umgeben von Olivenhainen und Wäldern. Ganz in der Nähe ist der Lago Trasimeno, ein wunderschöner großer See. Man muss die Natur also schon mögen, wenn man hier Urlaub machen möchte! Das Hotel ist sehr modern und reduziert designt, der Speisesaal ist dementsprechend ein wenig "karg", dafür ist die Terrasse ein absoluter Traum! Auch das Essen war ein Gedicht, alles frisch zubereitet und riesige Portionen, nur zu empfehlen. Ohne Auto ist man hier etwas aufgeschmissen, wenn man aber ein Auto hat kann man am Abend auch noch in die umliegenden Dörfer fahren und etwas essen oder trinken gehen. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich, sprechen super englisch und wohnen selber auf der Anlage. Sie haben neun Katzen, die auf der Anlage herum laufen, sind aber "gut erzogen". Der Pool ist wunderschön gelegen mit Blick auf die Wälder. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern, etwas dunkel, was aber sicherlich im Hochsommer Sinn macht. Die Bäder sind neu und modern gestaltet, das Bett ist wunderbar. Die ganze Anlage ist schön und gepflegt, man muss eben nur wissen, dass es hier tatsächlich darum geht runter zu kommen und die Natur um sich herum zu haben, sonst nichts! Ich denke hier kann man max. eine Woche verbringen, oder vier Tage, sonst wird es etwas langweilig, aber das ist ja auch Geschmackssache.||Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man bereit ist auch ein bisschen mehr zu investieren...

Wow, dont know where to start. If you're looking for a relaxing time, great food (courtesy of Bruno) and minimalist cool rooms, this is the place for you. My wife and I spent a number of days here to begin our Italy vacation. Not our first time in Italy, but first time in Umbria. Carol and Bruno are fantastic hosts. Breakfast is wonderful, fresh local food, homemade baked tarts all served on the outdoor patio. But, the real treat is Bruno's cooking. Seriously, we are foodies and planned to eat at restaurants that we scoped out prior to arriving. First night we decided to eat at Slow Life and we were hooked. From starter to dessert we were in food heaven. Bruno is self trained, using many of his grandmother's recipes. Of course, we decided to eat here every night! During the day you can choose to roam the countryside, sit by the awesome pool or visit the nearby hilltop towns. Carol and Bruno helped to arrange wine tastings and made certain we were good for the day. BTW good place for kids as well. I could go on gushing but I think you get it!
