My family, including our 20-year old daughter and her friend, enjoyed two fantastic weeks at Villa Cerqualto. The villa is beautifully maintained and has every amenity. The views from every room were stunning and we had ample room to spread out and relax. We enjoyed grilling outside and eating delicious meals in the gorgeous outdoor pergola. The pool was perfect. Stephanie was incredibly gracious and was quite helpful with any requests we had. She had a meal ready for us when we arrived and that was lovely. We have rented many properties over the years and this certainly is at the top of the list. We hope to return.

My husband and I, three grown children and grand baby spent a wonderful week at Villa Cerqualto in late March. Stephanie was a wonderful hostess, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay both before and after we arrived.There was ample space for all of us to lounge around together in the living room and having three full bathrooms was a great feature. The bedrooms were spacious, especially compared to European standards, with good quality bedding and very comfortable mattresses. The master bedroom has lovely large windows that look out onto the terrific upstairs porch that has views across the valleys. Even though we were off season the gardens were lovely and I can imagine that it would be fabulous to spend the day lounging in the pool. When we did rouse ourselves to leave the tranquil countryside there were dozens of charming villages and cities within a short drive. I have rented dozens of properties over the years so I have a fairly high standard of what rates a five star review and Villa Cerqualto fulfills my checklist. Hopefully we will be back to visit Stephanie someday in the near future.

Our stay was very pleasant. Despite low temperatures and even a little bit of snow, the owner arranged for proper heating and helped us plan our trip around the area with amazing sightseeing and food tips. Florence, Orviete and Assisi were among my favorite day trips. I also loved our hikes that you can take directly from the house around beautiful hill tops planted with olive trees. Another major highlight were outdoor hot thermal springs discovered by the Etruscans, with high sulfuric content that are said to alleviate breathing, digestive and arthritic conditions. Back in the house, we enjoyed our fireplace and a unique view. The owner was always there to help with anything we needed but never imposed. A perfect stay, I can only recommend it.

Staying in Umbria is an experience one can hardly forget. Staying in Stephanie's villa makes the difference. The villa, its amenities, the lovely different verandas and the magnificent view to the valley, create an atmosphere a visitor recalls on and on and still feels the urge to re-visit the place. Stephanie is a perfect hostess, caring for her visitors, making all necessary arrangements for special courses on painting or pottery for kids and adults as well, suggesting places to visit and eat and making sure everybody has a lovely stay in her villa. We will definitely revisit.

Wir waren schon oft in Italien, aber noch nie haben wir ein so schönes Haus gebucht. Es hat uns sehr, sehr gut gefallen. Große gemütliche Räume, sehr gute Matratzen in den Schlafzimmern. In der Küche mit großem alten Kamin waren alle nötigen Utsensilien vorhanden. Die Umgebung war zauberhaft, vor allem die herrlichen Ausblicke über die Landschaft. Außerdem gab es einen großen, sehr sauberen und geheizten Pool.|Aber vor allem die Eigentümerin Stephanie hat uns sehr gut betreut und stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir danken ihr sehr.

Jederzeit wieder! Wir verbrachten mit unserer 6 Monate alten Tochter wunderschöne und viel zu kurze 14 Tage bei Stephanie in der Villa Cerqualto. Unser erster Eindruck, nach der etwas abenteuerlichen (aber problemlos handhabbaren) Anfahrt war: „Wow, in diesem traumhaften Landgut dürfen wir die nächsten 2 Wochen verbringen?!“ ||Die Villa ist von Stephanie selbst restauriert worden, und man erkennt das Herzblut und die Liebe zum Detail in jedem Winkel. Antike Möbel, individuelles Design und eine umfangreiche sowie technisch-moderne Ausstattung bilden harmonisch die Grundlage um sich einfach wohlzufühlen. ||Die umwerfenden Ausblicke auf Monteleone und die umbrischen/toskanischen Hügel von den unterschiedlichen Balkons/Pergola sowie dem schön angelegten Garten sind grandios. Der Pool liegt einfach einzigartig! ||Auch für unsere kleine Tochter war wunderbar gesorgt: Babybett, Kinderhochstuhl (für uns noch etwas zu früh) und Kapuzenhandtuch waren vorhanden. Und sogar ein Wickelplatz ist vorbereitet und mit kleinen Stofftieren dekoriert worden. An einem Abend hat Stephanie zudem Babygesittet, so dass wir die Infiorata in Citta della Pieve genießen konnten. Stephanie ist eine sehr angenehme Gastgeberin und hat uns mit allen relevanten Dingen versorgt, damit wir uns wie zu Hause fühlen. Ihre Tipps und Informationen zu Städten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Events, konnten wir dann auch gut für unsere Touren nutzen. Denn obwohl man „mitten auf dem Land“ ist, sind Ausflüge in die umbrischen und toskanischen Städte, z.B. Orvieto, Todi, Perugia und Assissi (Autobahn in ca. 10 „Auto-Minuten“ erreichbar) sehr gut durchführbar. ||||Liebe Stephanie, wir haben uns einfach wie zu Hause gefühlt und können nur eines sagen: Herzlichen Dank! ...bestimmt bald wieder!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Villa Cerqualto, in the midst of the forrests near Citta della Pieve. The house was very clean and the temperatures remained pleasant, even during a heat wave. We stayed in the villa with two families with children and the house and grounds provided ample space for all of us to relax.||The location on the border of Umbria and Toscany is rather good for trips to interesting cities such as Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto and Montepulciano.

Family of 4 , including twins age 15. Perfect location with stunning views from every window of the villa and from the pool area. The villa is beautifully decorated and has everything to hand. Stephanie lives on sight but you would not know although she is on hand for any questions you may have. A lovely friendly lady whose company we enjoyed over a barbecue and wine. ||Montepulciano, Lake Bolsena, Orvietto all within easy reach and were all memorable days out. Eating out was considerably cheaper than the UK and buying food in the supermarket was a good price and better quality than our top supermarkets in the UK.||First time to Italy and we were not disappointed, I feel sure this was due to our beautiful villa and hostess. Well done Stephanie 1st class villa and service.
