If you have any sense of history or any interest in fin de siècle buildings, than visit and stay at Palazzo Poggioni. Especially the huge appartement with the original furniture of its time (end of 19th/begining of 20th century) is a treat. And the view from the balcony is stunning. Where can you find its equivalent? The family home of Gabriela's husband is still intact, though equipped with new kitchen and modern bathroom. There is a big swimming pool in the private garden. I have been visiting Tuoro sul Trasimeno since 1983, and this is the most stunning apartment I ever stayed at.

We've stayed at this residence multiple times and all times we had good experiences. The apartments are clean, large and very characteristic. The historical building adds something to the experience of vacation, but its in no less a burden of its age. It's been renovated beautifully and the view across the lake from the apartments with a balcony is amazing. There's a pool, which can be seen as a necessity with the heat Umbria sometimes offers, and there's an elevator to make things a lot easier. The town surrounding the residence is small yet cozy, and the people are very nice. It's situated close to Tuscany, so a trip to several nearby sightings is definitely worth it.

We had at fantastic stay in Tuoro sul Trasimeno. Nice apartement with a splendid view. The apartment has a fully equipped new kitchen. The traffic (bikes and trucks) are a bit disturbing at night. The pool is in a cosy garden with beautiful flowers.

I have had the opportunity to stay several times in the Michelangelo apartment and once in the Perugino apartment. What an extraordinary place to stay! The decoration in the apartment, the terrace, the view ... the swimming pool..... This place is ideally located if you want to visit Umbria and Toscany.

Very magnificent old house, feels like staying in an manshion. Great terrace and view. Perfect service all around. We did not use the pool, but it looked very inviting even if it was a bit early in the season.

Palazzo Poggioni ligger midt i den lille by Tuoro, med en storslået udsigt over søen fra terrasserne. I gåafstand finder man flere butikker og restauranter. Vi kan især anbefale "I Capricci de Merion", som både servere lækker mad og dejlige oplevelser.||Vi boede i den store og smukke lejlighed Michelangelo, som indeholder de stuer, som i tidligere tider givet blev brugt til modtagelse af gæster, da palazzoét endnu blev beboet af dets ejerfamilie. På trods af at man får følelsen af at være trådt ind i fortiden, fandt vi også et yderst velfungerende og veludrustet køkken. Den store balkon/terrasse med den smukke udsigt er dog den virkelige opholdsstue om sommeren. Og selv om der er udemærket senge med kvalitetssengetøj og aircondition, endte flere af os med også at overnatte mere end en gang ude på terrassen. Faldet i søvn under en fantastisk stjernehimmel, da nattens køligere luft endelig var ankommet. ||Den dejlige swimmingpool i haven gjorde vi flittig brug af, da vi havde temperature langt over 30 grade hver dag.||Alt det praktiske omkring lejemålet foregik ganske ukompliceret i samarbejde med Gabrielle. Huset er hendes mands barndomshjem og hun er meget opsat på at alt i huset fungerer, og at alle gæster er tilfredse. Og så bager hun helt fortræffelige osteboller. ||Vi nød vores uge på Palazzo Poggioni meget og kan kun anbefale stedet.
